Don Box
Founding Scientist, DevelopMentor
Current Interests
I spend most of my professional life adjusting to and
defining the COM lifestyle. To this end, I am spending entirely
too much time balancing the following:
I teach the Component Object Model Course at DevelopMentor every month.
I am lead developer of the COMBind library, a template-based C++ library that enables COM
objects to be implemented efficiently and easily.
I manage the DevelopMentor OLE curriculum
I write the OLE Q&A Column for Microsoft Systems
Journal (MSJ)
I write the ComponentCraft column for C++ Report
I am making the final drive towards my PhD Dissertation
by defining, implementing and experimenting with marshaling
architectures for distributed object systems over high-speed networks.
I maintain the
OLE Resource Center for DevelopMentor.
I am Associate Editor of the C++ Report and always on
the prowl for talented C++-Windows people to write.
