Guerrilla Windows

5 days and 5 nights of writing C++ Windows applications.

This course is an extremely intensive one-week experience engineered for developers who are new to Windows and C++ and need to become productive immediately.

Guerrilla Windows totally immerses students in the principles and techniques used to develop Windows applications using C++ and MFC by compressing sixty hours of instruction into five days. The course begins by introducing developers to C++ and Object-Oriented programming concepts used in modern Windows software development. Following the establishment of a basic skill set in C++, the course shows students the basic Windows architecture, including an overview of the Win32 API. The course quickly transitions to coverage of MFC, where students apply the concepts of an application framework by developing an MFC-based Windows application.

PREREQUISITES

You should be in good health and come equipped with a basic working knowledge of C programming techniques in order to complete the intensive lab exercises. You should also be prepared to write code and spend roughly twelve hours a day thinking and working like a Windows developer.
